History
On 17.03.1883 Johannes Strobel took over the company Simmerlein & Willareth and operate now under the name "J. Strobel". The Company produced bicycles and repaired sewing machines.
From 1919, the production changed to special sewing machines.
Since 1947, the company has been represented worldwide.
Till 2005 the company was family owned.
On 01.08.2005 new owners take over the company „J. Strobel & Söhne GmbH & Co." and continue the business under the name "Strobel Spezialmaschinen GmbH". That same year, the company takes place in a new modern factory building.
